What is HUSHLLOY?

It makes life more comfortable by reducing the “squeaking noise” generated from plastic joints and “friction noise” of moving parts.

FEATURE 01 Squeaking reduction

Blends special polymers for fewer “crispy” sounds and helps eliminate friction-based squeaking and vibration

The frictional vibration (stick-slip phenomenon) that occurs when two materials are rubbed against each other produces a squeaky sound.
By blending the existing ABS resin with a special polymer developed independently, the mating part slides smoothly and suppresses squeak noise.

Eliminates the need to apply grease or attach non-woven fabric to areas of suspected noise.

Efforts to prevent squeaking noise generally involve measures like applying grease or attaching non-woven fabric, but this can be dispensed with thanks to HUSHLLOY®’’s kneaded structure. So as well as reducing costs and construction errors, long-term performance can be maintained.

Product lineup

The rich lineup of HUSHLLOY® products includes heat-resistant, matte, glass-filled and PC alloy varieties. They prevent squeaking without any compromise when it comes to maintaining balanced physical properties, effective molding processability and stable molding shrinkage – qualities typified by ABS resin.

The mechanical properties and molding shrinkage of HUSHLLOY® are also equivalent to those of conventional ABS resins and PC alloys, meaning current molds can be used as-is.

Can you suppress “bang"-type hitting sounds and other related impacts?

We recommend the HUSHLLOY® series of materials to reduce hammering-type sounds, which can be done as well as reducing “squeaking”.

Can HUSHLLOY® be used for items other than cars?
