Three factories in Yokkaichi, Ube and Otake, Japan, each embody unique technology for manufacturing high-performance resins. The strength of Techno- UMG lies in being among the few manufacturers globally with the capability to develop, produce and continuously introduce diverse and highly functional resin materials to the market.

Applying M&A for 60 years has allowed us to solve customer problems with our ability to make proposals that apply ABS resin technology in various markets, like automobile and parts manufacturers. Our stand-out strength is scope to develop new markets by leveraging our know-how and providing exceptional added value. We have pioneered new markets with groundbreaking products that solve problems. HUSHLLOY®, a material to prevent squeaking noise, is one example. We created a new product by adding latent added value of which the customer was unaware and applying technology used by the Ddomestic appliances manufacturer.

Leveraging technical and developmental capabilities over time has spawned a number of innovations beyond ABS resin alone. This includes resin compositions compatible with various products, including ASA, AXS and XZX resins. Techno- UMG is currently striving to expand further by broadening its market reach, both domestically and internationally. This does not involve manufacturing and selling identical products with minimal profitability in bulk. Instead, our production system allows us to provide consistently high-quality products both domestically and overseas and roll out new products in response to customer feedback. And it is this customer feedback that inspires us to create a broad spectrum of available grades. A total of over 30,000 are available, including derivatives and numerous color variations. Owning our own manufacturing facilities also gives us the capacity to produce the right volume of high-quality products at the right time, accommodating both short-term and planned production.
