President's Greeting

We at Techno UMG are the No. 1 company in Japan for styrene resins, including ABS resin, and were established through joint investment by Japan's leading chemical manufacturers, JSR, Mitsubishi Chemical, and UBE. By inheriting and fusing the advanced technological development capabilities that our parent manufacturers have cultivated over the years, we have gained an overwhelming share of the domestic market for ABS resins. Currently, we provide a stable supply of ABS resin, which is essential for automobiles, home appliances, housing construction materials, and more, to over 5,000 users.
We also operate globally, with bases in Europe, the US, and four Asian countries, and sell our products in over 30 countries. We not only strongly support Japanese companies expanding overseas, but also create new global businesses ourselves. The unique products we develop are highly regarded around the world, and we increase the value of our customers' products with solutions that only Techno UMG can provide, such as the resin "HUSHLLOY" that reduces the creaking noise of plastics.
The materials we work on still have great potential. ABS resin, in which we boast the top market share, can be evolved into a material with new functions by changing the combination of raw materials. We call these AXS resins, and from now on we will create innovative AXS resins that meet the potential needs of our customers, develop new markets, and contribute to solving social issues such as decarbonization.
